Blogging
Good Job for: Anybody who wants to make a name for themselves, promote their
business or meet new people. Blogging is great for those who are dedicated,
reliable and don't mind having to market their own work.
Bad Job for: If you need cash in a jiffy, this is probably the worst way you can
go. It will take months for you to reach the point where you're making several
dollars a day. Blogs need to be updated on a daily basis, so if you are strapped
for time this may not be the right opportunity for you.
Pay Rate: Most blogs make money based on clicks via Google, Adbrite, BidVertiser,
etc. Each click will earn you between .05 - .70 cents. I would say that, based
on my personal experience, out of 100 unique visitors to my site I get 1 to 5
clicks.
Time Spent: Lots! You must produce articles daily, post them, market your
material and your site. Estimate a minimum of 1 - 2 hours daily.
Ave. Weekly Income: Your weekly income will depend entirely on your traffic
levels.
10 visitors a day x 7 days a week = 70 visitors. 1 - 5 clicks = .05 - $3.50 /
week
50 visitors a day x 7 days a week = 350 visitors. 3 - 15 clicks = .15 - $10.50 /
week
100 visitors a day x 7 days a week = 700 visitors. 6 - 30 clicks = .30 - $21.00
/ week
